REDModz proudly presents the first "PIMP MY RED CAMERA" contest for 2008 proudly sponsored by Element Technica!

The grand prize winner will receive a free pair of 18" Element Technica Ultra Rods.
The first runner-up will receive a free pair of 12" Element Technica Ultra Rods.
The second runner-up will receive a free pair of 6" Element Technica Ultra Rods.

Preliminary details for the contest:

With about 200 reds hitting the market soon and likely a few hundred more in Jan 2008, owners will begin configuring and customizing the RED camera to fit their needs. This will be your chance to show it off to the RED community by sending in a pic of your rig.

Pimped REDs will be judged by the following criteria:

1) WOW factor- Maybe you went all out and purchased every accessory and decided to attach a massive Optimo lens.
2) Photo Quality- Bonus points goes towards presentation and quality of the photo.
3) Originality- Did you do something in your configuration no one has done and/or made your own custom accessories?

Preliminary submission rules:

1) One configuration submission per owner/company.
2) Photos must come without watermarks or logos.
3) Submit your production company and we will credit you.
4) You are allowed to submit up to three pics of the same configuration at different angles.
5) We will begin accepting submissions shortly.
6) Visitors who register to our site will be allowed to submit one vote for their favorite RED rig.
7) After all submissions are received, the gallery will be opened up for public voting from 02/01/08-02/08/08.
8) The public votes will determine the final 5.
9) A panel of five special judges, to be confirmed, will decide the top three.
