Remote Record Start and Stop accessory for Red One Camera by Viewfactor
Preliminary information on Reduser from Curt of Viewfactor: Two buttons for volume control on the newly added piezo buzzer. I also tossed in a coiled cable. The buttons are recessed so you wont accidentally hit them during normal use (you may need to use a pen to press them). When you press the buttons, the piezo will sound to indicate the current level of the output. When you get the volume where you like it then the micro controller will store that data in flash so it will stay at that setting until you change it again - even after its been unplugged for a long time. The sounding will be one long beep for the record start and two short beeps for the stop. The Record LED will reflect the piezo so it will flash in unison with the beep. I'm also going to throw in a setup mode so if you press both volume buttons and hold them down so you can change the duration of the beeps.
